Where creativity meets advocacy, and families find the support they need to stay connected.
Plural Platforms was established for incarcerated persons to be able to have their voices heard, their art, profiles, pictures, posts, and screenplays seen, their poetry and books read, their apparel advertised, and their philanthropy acknowledged. We aim to illuminate the humanity of incarcerated persons.
Plural Platforms also serves as a social media platform where family and friends can learn how to set up in-person and video visits, use the prison email service, and arrange phone calls. Additionally, our platform guides loved ones on how to send letters, books, money, commissary items, photo books, newspapers, and magazines.
Moreover, Plural Platforms offers advice and support for coping with the emotional challenges of having a loved one in prison and prepares families for their eventual release. We also enable individuals to pledge their votes and gather support for elected officials who prioritize the freedom of innocent individuals and second chances for those who have earned them. Through collective action, we aim to focus our time, resources, and voices on local, state, and federal elections to drive meaningful change and bring our loved ones home.
Our mission is to provide a platform where the creativity and humanity of incarcerated individuals can shine.
